A broken heating element (Figure 1.) should be replaced immediately, as the ones that are still intact have to glow longer and one of the remaining heating elements may also break after a while. Only an authorized electrical engineer may replace a heating element.
If the heating element breaks while the product is still under warranty, please refer to the instructions here. Do not use or repair a broken product yourself.
