Calcium in your sauna water may form white stains on the heater or stove surfaces over time. The stains can be removed with a citric acid solution as follows:
- Purchase some citric acid at a pharmacy, for example.
- Mix approximately two table spoons of citric acid powder in 500 ml of water.
- Wipe the stains with a towel dampened with the solution. Use rubber gloves, as the citric acid may irritate your skin.
- Rinse and dry if necessary.
