What kind of application is a steel chimney suitable for?
The steel chimney is a CE-standardized chimney for removal of chimney gas in solid fuel run saunas and iron stoves and fireplaces using solid fuel for heating. The WHP1500 is suitable only for standalone outdoor saunas.
What kind of application is a steel chimney not suitable for?
Steel chimney is not suitable for use in recreational dwellings, summer cottages, detached single-family homes, semi-detached homes, row houses, townhouses, or apartment buildings, including loft apartments.
What is a standalone outdoor sauna?
The WHP1500 is suitable only for standalone outdoor sauna buildings. Not for use as chimneys for fireplaces located inside residential buildings or vacation homes.
In practice, a standalone outdoor sauna refers to a building that
- A: Is not suitable for year-round living.
- B: Is not classified as a residential building.
- C: Usually lacks basic heating.
However, in addition to the sauna room, a standalone outdoor sauna may also include a washroom and/or a changing room.

Contents of the sales package
The sales package for the steel chimney includes a 1.5-meter insulated chimney section and all other accessories required for installation, excluding the vapor barrier.
Note
- Steel chimney package does not include a vapor barrier. If you need a vapor barrier, the compatible product is Harvia WHM25.
- Steel chimney package does not include a smoke damper. If you need a smoke damper, the compatible product is Harvia WHP270SP/M
- If the insulated section of the chimney needs to be longer than 1.5 meters, the chimney can easily be extended using 0.5-meter or 1.0-meter extension sections. However, the total height of the chimney must not exceed 5.0 meters.
