Harvia SFE safety switches

This article guides you through the wiring and use of a safety switch device.

Connecting the safety switch

• The safety switch is connected to the SAFETY and GND terminals on the circuit board, terminals X15 and X16.
• Note: The safety switch may only be installed by a qualified electrician.

How to activate remote use

• Xenio control panels
  • The control panel setting S - 00 must be in SAFE mode when using the safety switch:

• • VKK control units (models C170VKK and C400VKK)
    • Activate REMOTE CONTROL in the control panel settings and select "SAFETY SWITCH".

Troubleshooting

Remote use not working

• The safety switch circuit is open
• Remote control is not activated from the control panel
• The safety switch is incorrectly connected to the circuit board.

Xenio control panel: Error message "SAFE"

• The safety switch circuit is open
• The safety switch is incorrectly connected to the circuit board.

VKK control unit: Error message "Safety switch circuit open. Check safety switch!"

• The safety switch circuit is open
• The safety switch is incorrectly connected to the circuit board.
